Julie (she/her) is a Bachelor of English student at the University of British Columbia’s Okanagan campus, with a minor in Creative Writing. In her writing, she prefers to work primarily in short fiction and prose, with a focus on using the lens of speculative fiction to explore queer narratives. She is currently working as an undergraduate research assistant in Dr. Emily Murphy’s ReMedia Lab, where she is assisting Dr. Murphy in analyzing the cultural perception of graphic biographies by contemporary audiences.
